Alex McCoul- President

Maintenance Consultant Specializing in Plant Repair, Mechanical, Welding and Safety Training

Certified Welding Inspector – American Welding Society (1989-2016)

Alex has dedicated the last 30 years of his career working in various capacities throughout the mining industry.

As Senior Technical Representative for Bucyrus, in the northwestern US, Alex was invaluable in helping mine operators reduce their costs and improve performance of their equipment. Much of his time at Bucyrus, was spent in direct customer interface working on repair project options and plans, completing everything from single component inspections to complete machine audits.

Alex also spent 5 years as Maintenance Scheduler and Dragline Inspector for Rio Tinto Energy, where he inspected equipment, wrote repair plans, secured parts, allocated labor and vendor resources and oversaw complete project execution. Prior to that, Alex worked with the welding and maintenance crews in the mines. From 1989 to 2016, Alex served as a Certified Welding Inspector for the American Welding Society.
